I ahve seen this 2 times recently. The way you are describe it, you system
may have been hyjacked by CoolWebSearch (argh!!!!). Download and installed
the three following utilities:

Spybot: Search and Destroy 1.3
Ad Aware 6.0
CWShredder 1.59.

These should clear off any/all spyware/malware/hackware programs that your
PC may have on it. Just make sure before you run them, always check for
updates.
