Also, dedicated spyware programs such as SpyBot S&D
www.safer-networking.org
and Ad-Aware www.lavasoftusa.com are designed to find and
remove adware/spyware.
SpyBot version 1.3 has some very nice features, it can
immunize your PC and it has a hosts file that can block
redirects. Just enable the advanced view and look at the
options offered. It has a pretty good tutorial too.
