Did you not read what Will stated?!

1) Pro to Home is *NOT* an upgrade - it's a downgrade, ergo it's *NOT*
possible to install the latter over the former, just as you can't install 98
over Home, for example.

2) Deleting and recreating a partition is the same as formatting, so
there should be nothing left on the drive. She will need to reinstall
everything as a format would have had to have been performed.
