Start button/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore
Select the option: Restore my computer to an earlier time. Click the NEXT button. The
next window will be divided into two panes, on the left a calendar, and on the right
System Restore Points for selected calendar dates. The bold dates on the calendar are the
ones with Restore Points. If you say that the problem began a couple of days ago, click
on a bold date just prior to when the problem began, and you will see the Restore Point
for that date in the right pane. If the Restore Point in the right pane isn't already
highlighted, click on it to highlight it. Then click the NEXT button and follow the rest
of the wizard. None of your data files will be deleted, but any programs, drivers, or
updates that you have done after the date of the Restore Point that you select will have
to be reinstalled.
