Hello Wesley,
Very helpful. I'm afraid the others on this thread kinda skimmed my
message, so they didn't realize I didn't get an OEM CD-ROM at all. So I
don't have the Microsoft backup utility. Apparently, Microsoft doesn't
give it away or sell it. True?
I tried the link you suggested, but Bob Cerelli's Windows Site seems not
to carry NTBackup anymore, unless I overlooked it. Not sure why. I'm not
sure what NTBackup is, but I assume it backs up Windows NT. Is it
suitable for XP also?
Apparently, third party backup applications for XP are available. Which
has the best reputation. Link, anyone? What about BackUpMyPC, by Stomp?
Thanks again, Wesley. I'm going to make a note of your message for
future reference.
Cheers,
Tim Miller
