You cannot delete or uninstall IE from windows xp. It is tightly integrated
into the os and trying to do so will result in a non-working system. You can
repair/reinstall internet explorer, but you cannot delete it.
And BTW - Firefox browser blows opera away. I suggest firefox for an
alternative browser.
