Ghost 2001 will not recognize a NTFS drive. I bought
Norton System Works 2003 and its Ghost works fine with
either FAT32 or NTFS, and you can BTW mix them together.
My backup is in the form of a Disk to Disk clone, which
has the added advantage that the clone is completely
defragged.
My bootable HDD is on the shelf and can be slid into place
in about 4 seconds. Slick!
