When you buy a Retail copy of WinXP (Professional or Home Edition), there is
a bright orange sticker, not on the CD-ROM itself, but usually on the CD
jewel case, that says "Don't Lose This Product Key!" If you've already lost
that, you'll have to call Microsoft and explain the situation. If you never
got a product key, you'll have to get it from the person to sold you that
CD.
