If you "want to still use McAfee," why do you want to uninstall it? Trying
to get another trial period for free, perhaps?
Try completely shutting McAfee down before attempting an uninstall. I don't
use McAfee myself, but if there is an option to launch the program with
Windows, UN-check that option and reboot, then attempt an uninstall.
