Hi. TIA to anyone who can help.

My Norton AV 2003 reported a Trojan Horse in "notepad.exe". It was
unrepairable, so I had to quarantine and delete it. Now, obviously, I
can't open ".txt" files. I need another copy of Windows' Notepad
(preferably uninfected) to replace the one I trashed.

If anyone can help, my email is "hendis_NOSPAM@us89.net". (Be sure to
