Hi Lucy and Thanks
Re: Err: -2147467259 TransformResults() Exception/style***/XML document
Running Windows Xp Pro.
When I try to go to: Microsoft TechNet/Microsoft Security bulletin Search @ http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/current.aspx , to search & download
needed updates, I get this error message:
(((( Microsoft Internet Explorer
TransformResults() Exception
Err: -2147467259
The style*** does not contain a document element.
The style*** may be empty, or it may not be well-formed XML document. ))))
I looked in Help & Support and I read all Errors related to: (Err: -2147467259).
But, none of them mentioned any thing about stylesheets or XML document !!
I also did the SSL test successfully..
What, and why is that ?

Jim,
This is an XML error. Install MSXML Parser 3.0 Service Pack 4 Release.
You can download the latest parser from this location:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/downloads/list/xmlgeneral.asp
Try installing updates again.
Thanks,
Lucy [MSFT]

Thanks
Well,, I have all "MSXML" updates & patchs installed and registered.. but, over and above all that I went to:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/downloads/list/xmlgeneral.asp
there are 3 different downloads for the latest Microsoft XML Parser 3.0 SP 4
msxml3cab.EXE 629 KB
msxml3msms.EXE 974 KB
msxml3usa.msi 1875 KB
and there is also :
Microsoft XML Parser 3.0 SP4 SDK / xmlsdk.msi 1795 KB
Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 Service Pack 2 23 KB - 10070 KB
I'm confused which one is the right one for me???
Meanwhile please note that if I go to these (technet sites) I dont get that error message Err: -2147467259
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/default.mspx
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/community/default.mspx
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/notify.mspx
http://www.microsoft.com/security/guidance/default.mspx
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/secnews/default.mspx
But Only When I Go Here I Get The Error Message:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/current.aspx

Changes to the Simple API for XML (SAX2) implementation, including new SAX2 helper classes with even higher conformance with World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standards and the OASIS Test Suite.
Instructions
There are three options to download MSXML 3.0 SP4:
Use msxml3xxx.msi to install MSXML on your computer. You can also save it on your local disk to install later. xxx stands for three letter acronym for the language.
Use msxml3msms.exe to download the redistributable merge modules (*.msm) to distribute with your application setup.
Use msxml3cab.exe to download the CAB file to redistribute MSXML over the Internet. For this option, you need to create a Web page that references the msxml3.cab file upon opening. The msxml3.cab file will install the MSXML 3.0 SP4 to your system
