That is one of the fixes on limited release, only for machines having
the symptoms. You have to phone MSoft support, and immediately say you
want the hotfix for KB 823272 because you are having the problems
described. They may quiz you on the problem, and ask you to report back
on results, but provided you ask for nothing else you will not be
charged and they will give you the download link
