Within the ADSL program itself there should be an option
to disable its running at Startup. Failing that, look in
the Startup Folder on the (All) Programs menu - if it's
there, delete it.
The least favored way is to run MSCONFIG (see below) from
Start, Run and then seeing if it (your ADSL program) is
listed under the Startup tab. If so, you can uncheck it,
hit Apply, then OK and re-boot as directed (commanded) by
Windows. This method is primarily for diagnostic purposes
and for various reasons is not the preferred method, i.e.,
some programs will re-insert themselves if removed,
etc. . . .
