Did you search the whole registry for any appearance of "Xerox" and it's
variations?

Is there a mIRC client installed, and if there is, is there a
"Script.ini" file in it's store folder?

Is there an Autorun.inf in the root of any partitions?

These are the only things left that I can think, not yet covered by your
summary, or my memory of the rest of the thread.
