My Explorer (Files, not IE) suddenly stopped displaying. When I double click the icon, use start menu, or run the explorer file directly, I get a momentary hourglass cursor, then nothing.
I've tried shortcut properties for full-screen, normal window, and minimized; always the same result. I've tried system restore, and I've copied the EXE file from another computer with no luck.
Task Manager indicates the program is running, I just can't see it. If I click or run it repeatedly, task manager shows multiple instances of the program, still no display.
The problem just suddenly happened, not after an install or anything like that. Norton AV, Ad-Aware, and SpyBot report no problems.
Any ideas anyone? I'd sure appreciate some help.
Thanx:
Tom Ponta
