Internet slow? Virus / Spy ware

All,
I am experiencing a really slow internet speed. I have three PC connected
on a Linkys Router which is connected to a cable modem.
Two of the PC aare fine (one note book and a Desktop) the thrid Desktop is
experiencing the problem of slow connection.

I All three have Norton Internet Security. The PC that is slow does come
back to life when the Norton Fire wall is disabled. but as soon as I enable
the firewall the Speed drops but only on this one PC.

Any one experience this or or a an idea what could be happening, I have run
a virus scan but cannot find any virus etc. Could this be the result of Spy
ware?

Any Suggestions and /or ideas aare always appreciated.
