sounds like either you have a power issue or you have a
virus of some kind. try running a full virus scan. try
also examining your processes in task manager. and then
run ad-aware as your anti-spyware. when you run it, do a
customize and tweak it's settings for a deep-clean (under
advanced then tweak). some recommended settings
include "Unload recognized processes during scanning"
and "Automatically try to unregister objects prior to
deletion".
