Is it Microsoft's fault that everyone else on the planet
knows how to turn that type of stuff off EXCEPT you ?

It's probably Bill Gates just trying to make a few bucks.

Lighten up. Computers are in their "teen" years. When
they mature, stuff like this won't happen. Deal with it.
