Logon Script will not work when xp uses DHCP

Our XP clients will not execute Logon Script when they
logon to our W2K servers using DHCP. DHCP is working
because the clients are able to logon and IPConfig/All
reveals an IP address. When the XP client is using an
Static IP address, the logon script, located on the W2k
server is executed. Any ideas? TIA
