Based on the file name, sounds like Microsoft SQL Server or Microsoft
Database Engine (MSDE) has been installed, probably in support of
another application. For example, in Outlook 2003 Business Contact
Manager uses MSDE. However, the file name seems to be sqlsrv.exe. I
can't find sqlsrv32.exe via a Google search ... this leads me to believe
it is something else ... perhaps something masquarading as SQL Server so
as to not attract attention? Virus or Spyware? Perhaps search your
hard disk to find where the copy of this file resides, and look at it's
properties or from which folder it's in is a clue?
Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.
