Most welcome and keep us posted. Beings you claim that you have disabled
all startup items, that really blows my next theory out of the water. Do me
a favor and check your RunOnce keys while at work and post what is listed
there, if anything.

Start/Run/Regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce

Thanks I will try line 157. I have disabled all startup
items in the msconfig, but that did not resolve. Stopped
a few services as well. All restarts the problems
remain. So perhaps the startup tracker will work. The
machine is at the office so will try your solutions
tomorrow. Thanks.
