Hi,

The entry in Add & Remove just removes links on the desktop and references,
Internet Explorer is integrated into the system and cannot (and should not)
be fully removed. You cannot do what you are attempting to do, as you cannot
mix the language versions of those programs. To use an English version of
IE, you need to have an English version of WinXP with the proper language
files to support it. Other than a company using MUI with their English-based
WinXP systems, there is no way to easily convert from one language to
another. To do so requires formatting and clean installing a copy of WinXP
based in the preferred language.
