Sorry, but I'd have to agree with Gordon. ME, in many people's opinions, is
the least preferable version of Windows. I personally refuse to install it
on my machine or anyone's machine that I have a chance of working on or
using at any point in time. I upgraded to XP from 98 first edition, and I
would never consider going back to a legacy version. I could barely bring
myself to install Win2k when I was having bunches of hardware problems and
trying to track down the culprit (long story), and I wouldn't know what to
do with 9x/ME/NT etc. So, in my opinion, I'd have to say that XP has
treated me rather well, even though I've had to reinstall quite a few times
in the past couple years.
