What are you using to enter the Euro symbol? Typically, Alt+0128 is used to
insert it, much like this: ?100. The Euro is a pretty standard ansi
character, so I'm thinking regional settings shouldn't affect its insertion
into any rich-text-type application (e.g. Word, but not Notepad). Can the
symbol not be placed into any text at all, or do you only notice this
problem in certain applications?
