Hello,

My son installed the update to fix the sasser "hole" and
now his machine will not boot to windows. As soon as the
first black background windows screen comes up with the
progress bar, it reboots again. I tried running in safe
mode and last known good config with the same results.

Another anomaly is the No Signal dialog from his monitor
keeps popping up intermittently while the boot is
attempting. This never occurred before. There are no
loose cables and the video card is about 3 months old. He
has a dual boot to linux which still works properly so
hardware doesn't seem to be the problem.

Please help if you can! My son attends an online school
and can't continue his studies. Thanks in advance.
