Two things.
If you bought a brand name computer the Product Key should be on a sticker
located someplace on the box.
HP as well as some other manufacturers provide the OEM software VIA a hidden
partition on the HD, read your manual as to how you access it.
If you can't locate the sticker with the Product Key on it try one of these
links to retreive the key off your computer:
Key Finder: http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder.shtml
or
Aida32: http://www.aida32.hu/aida32.php

The manufacturer (if it is the partition type OEM) will send you a CD for
around 10 bucks.
HP I know includes a utility that allows you to make your OEM CD from the
partition if you have a CD burner installed. Otherwise contact the
manufacturer as they are required to provide the software to you.
