I'm still not willing to say that your data is gone. At least we now know
that you several partitions and your old data is probably on the Home
partition that won't boot correctly. It may have several problems, but on
problem certainly may be that it does not have proper drivers for the new
motherboard. You should have a CD that contains the drivers for the disk
controller and any integrated devices, like network adapters, on the
motherboard.

Have you tried booting the broken Home partition in Safe Mode? If that
doesn't work, perhaps a Home bootdisk will get you to a place where you can
either install the mobo drivers or at least offload your old data.
