I've installed xp pro over a xp home version. I had a little trouble and
tried a few times. What I'm left with is this. I keep finding a profile
which is for example Administrator.laptop (laptop is the computer name)
under 'documents and settings'. This is in addition to the 'Administrator'
folder. When I delete the 'Administrator.computer-name' folder (while
logged on as a different admin account), and log back in as administrator,
Windows tells me that it can not find the profile and creates the
administrator.computer-name folders all over again. How can I re-associate
the Administrator account with the Administrator folders? I also have
another mysterious folder called all users.windows as well as all users
under documents and settings. I also can not delete the All Users.WINDOWS
folder as well. I get a message sayiing that it's a windows system folder.
Any one else seen this?
