It was locked on numlock, by pressing the fn,shift, and numlk keys. I never
noticed before, but those numbers are arranged like a desktop's number pad.
Thanks for the help! BTW, this is due to my 16 month old daughter pounding
on the keys, which she loves to do. She has produced some weird things,
like left clicking with the mouse on an object bringing up the properties
sheet, or dragging an item on the desktop producing a copy of the item.
This is the first time that it hasn't been solvable with a reboot.
