Thank you for posting here.
In order that I may research further ways to troubleshoot this issue,
please send me a screenshot of this error message.
To capture a screenshot:
a. Press the 'Print Screen' key on your keyboard (it may instead appear as
'PrnScrn', or something similar).
b. Click Start->Programs->Accessories and select the Paint program.
c. In the Paint program, select the Edit menu, and then select Paste.
d. Save this file and email it to me as an attachment.

You may try to create a new dialup connection and new user to test the
situation. If possible, you may use a phone to test the phone jack and line
to make sure it is not a line problem.

| My clients on the road are having trouble with error code 691 and I cannot
