If the network wizard is used and you select AOL as the shared connection,
it ends up being noted as "firewalled" in Network Connections. Whether it
really works or not, I have no idea since the AOL adapter does not use the
same standards as other network adapters.

You can remove the firewalled designation by running the networking wizard
again. Or by deleting the adapter with the AOL system information tool (do
not delete it manually). Restarting the AOL software, will then rebuild the
adapter minus the firewall notation.
