>mr. White
sure do appreciate your reply. you got me by three
years.
i have just got this XP deal, i had 98 for over five
years. i have the service pack 1 (came with the win.
install disk).
the manual that i need to read came with my new
creative labs sound card. it says that the file cplexe.exe
is missing and i could get it off the windows XP home
edition service pack 1. well i do not know how to extract
it off the cd. or where to put it i, guess win. system.
shoot if i still had the 98se it would be no trouble.
i also need to get file snmp.exe off the cd.
well i guess i will have to have a tech come from
charlotte (50 miles) and put them in.
thanks again for the help
Larry
maybe some one knows where on microsft site i could read
up on extracting a file from the cd.
