Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - System Restore

select 'restore to previous date, click next, choose a date in bold that
has a point, then highlight the specific one, and Next. The system will
close down and you will get a progress bar that says it is restoring -
that may take quite a long time, be patient. When it reboots there will
also be a pause before the desktop appears and there will be a message
to say it has restored and asking you to confirm
