A TV set is built for displaying TV - until HDTV comes in that means 525
lines in the US - not all of which display, so the only computer
resolution you can use on one is 640x480. Which is about half what you
would have on a decent Computer monitor (and at that the bandwidth for
the TV signal is usually low enough to make things even worse)
