There is seldom a need to boot into safe mode to remove a trojan. Be sure
that you are properly informed within the issues and procedures. If you are
needing more help, post back.

As for your agp440.sys issue (this is totally non-related to the suspected
trojan), sounds like you are really needing to update the drivers. Was this
an upgrade to XP, either way, do so. Surely hope this is the fix in your
case.

For many other users, this sign was due to the BIOS (Try: load fail safe
defaults in the bios even though this sets the video init in the bios to PCI
even though the vid card is AGP ) needing to be updated and modified (note:
This fixed the issue for many users: Plug and Play OS), mobo issues, device
manager (DVD/CDRW), some have noted after installing WinDVD this issue
became noticable, and from an update from Norton.

My suggestion at this point to would be replace the card. Good luck!

Tried to kill the csass.exe trojan. Can't boot into safe mode. When I
press
F8, the boot hangs on following file:
/winnnt/system32/drivers/agp440.sys
Any ideas?
