What is the error message in the Notification Area? Is the adapter listed
in the Device Manager and listed as working properly? Have you tried
another wireless adapter, perhaps that one is defected. Did you right click
the listing in Network Places and select enable? Have you tried it in
another slot?
If the above has been tried, go to Start/Run/Regedit delete the values
listed under Network and reboot.
