I'm not familiar with that hardware, but probably many readers here are.

In some cases, it is possible to make the virtual screen larger than the
actual display, requiring the user to "pan" across the desktop to see it
all. Perhaps your settings have created such a situation and your Taskbar,
etc., are off the monitor, in a part of the over-large desktop that does not
currently in view.

If that's not it, I'm out of ideas, I'm afraid. All I can suggest is the
tried and true - though trite: Contact GeForce or EVGA to be sure that you
have the proper drivers for WinXP and your other hardware.
