Windows SP2 doesnt install..

ok.. well.. heres the scoop.. i reinstalled windows XP
cause it ate itself!!! and now it says my kernel is not a
windows file.. WOOPDYDO!! my 100% legit (unlike most of
my stuff) windows cd doesnt got a legit kernel.. how do i
fix this?
