The only thing Add/Remove Programs allows you to remove is the program
shortcut.
Open Windows Messenger and under the Options tab uncheck "Start Messenger
when Windows loads" and "Allow Windows Messenger to run in the background."
Also, if you use Outlook Express and have the Contacts pane showing, it will
still load every time you open OE. Remove the Contacts pane and you should
never see Windows Explorer again. It worked for me.
