I was doing a CHKDSK /F on my C: and D: drives.
I was given the choice of running CHKDSK on the C: drive
upon reboot.
On the D: drive I was given the choice of 'FORCING A
DISMOUNT' to preform the CHKDSK. I chose to do the
DISMOUNT and the CHKDSK was done. What is a DISMOUNT?
Maybe I should be asking 'What have I done this time to
screw up my computer?' Thank you.
