I emailed their tech support and they replied telling me to call
Microsoft. It's interesting (in a Chinese curse sort of way) that
this pc company is marketed as selling hard-core gaming machines
(which is fairly true), but their support stinks to high heaven.
(I've had previous dealings with them.) But the guy at least included
an 800 number to call. I'll call MS tomorrow.

Do you think it means I'll have to buy another copy of XP? Or will MS
be able to give me a product key to use? (I realize I'm asking you to
speculate on what MS will do. I'm just a bit frustrated with this
machine. I feel like I can't even troubleshoot it without paying lots
of money.)
