Can you see the USB flash drive in Explorer? Is it assigned a drive
letter?

Open Disk Manager and check:

>From RUN type in "diskmgmt.msc" (no quotes) and press enter.

The Disk Manager dialog will open and you will be able to see all your
drives and partitions. The USB flash drive should be listed after
your CD ROM drive(s) and it will show up as removable media. If no
drive letter is assigned, right click the drive, and follow
directions.
