1 - Blue screns - sounds like a driver problem to me.
2 - I would not do it this way because then your anti-virus program will not
startup when you turn the computer on. You would have to manually start it
up and I'm sure you'll eventually forget and bam your infected. I would just
manually disable nortons when your going to play the game. Having your av
auto-start is far more important than any game(and I'm a big time gamer).
Or get rid of nortons and try a av program that doesn't use as many
resources like AVG anti-virus. When I game on a 1ghz with 512mb sdram I
never turn avg anti-virus off or disable it and I have no probs with gaming.
