To rename or delete folders you must follow these procedures:
1. The contents of the folder must not be used by programs loaded into
memory. Close down any programs in memory esp. media programs such as
Windows Media Player, Peer to Peer software, Quicktime etc. and those
in system tray.
2. You cannot rename or delete folders if the folder window is already
open. Close the window first
3.In some cases, deleting the contents of the folder first before
deleting the folder would work better.
