AS I said, you did not post to this newsgroup any details
about the system. There are dozens of possible keys or key
combinations that could be correct. It could be very
simple, just one key such as F1 or F2, but some Dell models
use F12. Some might use Esc, other systems might use other
combinations. If the keyboard is one of the new enhanced
models with an F-Lock key to reassign the function keys, you
must manually set the F-Lock before you press the function
key.
If there were only 3 or 4 key combinations you would have
found that in a few minutes on your own by trial and error.
BTW, this IS NOT Microsoft technical support, it is a peer
level newsgroup staffed by volunteers and hobbyists.

| I just wished that I lived in the "perfect world" that
| you live in. You are assuming my expertise in the IT
| world is "data logging" every friend or relative that has
| a pc. I'm organized, but I'm not living in the "little
| specific bubble" that you are only aware of. My
| responsibilities are on a much "different" level. It
| would take 2 full time assistants to keep up with
| everything that I do. I know that I should not take on
| trivial pursuits like this, but sometimes you have to.
| So I simply thought, "throw the question out to
| the "helpful newsgroup for that issue and have the person
| with the simple problem have it answered, but obviously
| the scope of understanding with this newsgroup is very
| much into a "click", and very limited. If you don't want
| to give simple common options to getting into the bios,
| then skip the question, so someone else can help that
| really cares, for that person's needs, and it is
| advisable to give the person directions in the future how
| to get these answers. "Is that not what Technical Help
| and Support is all About"? Sorry to have not followed
| the "unwritten" rules that you follow. Have you ever
| been a technical support person? You would have
| definitely never had made it. You have violated
| every "do not" reaction and answer that you give a
| client. Sorry for the inconvience to you. If I ever ask
| a question again, for the sake of both of us, please do
| not reply, Thanks, Roth
