If you're unable to remove a program using add/remove, my guess is
that it is because the program is running. What you should have done
was shut down the program and make sure no part of the program loads
at boot (there are two places to check for that), then power down and
reboot, then uninstall.
If you want to retry deleting the program, you could reinstall it then
follow the procedure above.
And in case you don't know how to stop a program from loading at boot
here's how:
1. Remove it from the Startup folder (if it exists there)
2. In the Run dialog box type "msconfig" then look at the Startup tab
and see if you can identify the program. Uncheck its box. Reboot.
