Since you didn't say what you have already done to troubleshoot, please
do the usual Windows troubleshooting; i.e., scan with a current
(post-2002 version using updated definitions) antivirus and remove any
spyware. For spyware removal, use the free programs Spybot S&D
(www.security.kolla.de) and Ad-aware (www.lavasoftusa.com). Be sure to
update these programs before running them, and run them both since they
complement each other. It is useful to run av and spyware scans in Safe
Mode in case malware is actively running in normal mode.
Also, check your port settings for smtp and be sure that some malware
hasn't set a proxy. The usual port for smtp is port 25.
