HELP! Yesterday my machine (XP SP1) started periodically crashing and
rebooting. I get a BSOD saying Kernel_data_inpage_error and referencing
win32k.sys. Once I saw it mention aspi.dll as well. Also, I have seen one
at least one occasion this error:

System Process
C:\Windows\System32\services.exe terminated unexpectedly with status code
128. blah blah something about shutting down in 60 seconds and then -
Shutdown initiated by NT/AUTHORITY SYSTEM

I've googled this and haven't found anything that applies to my system. A
virus scan came up empty and I don't have any "phantom shares" in my
registry. Does anyone have any ideas? The first time it happened my
machine did the error-reporting thing and Microsofts page said something to
the effect that Windows temporarily couldn't read from my hard disk and it
shouldn't happen again but if it does to contact my hard disk manufacturer.
I've already done a Repair install with my XP SP1 cd thinking that would fix
whatever damage had been done to my OS but it didn't help. PLEASE HELP!

Thanks.

Mike
