Did you install the music management software that came with the player?
Your player may not support direct file access through Windows (it won't
appear as a USB drive that you can upload and download to, only the
accompanying software can transfer files, and possibly only audio ones).
Some players can act as a USB storage device and support any file format
through Windows Explorer, but perhaps yours can't.
