Really stupid people have trouble with the clock in the VCR.
Some smarter people can properly set-up and maintain a
personal computer. Some nerds really like Linux because it
is/was open source based on Unix. As a niche product, the
script-kiddie virus writers don't know enough to bother with
attacking Linux. Besides, they don't have a single "evil
rich guy" to attack. Some Linux users feel very much more
powerful and smarter because they can use the Linux commands
line. The newer Linux GUIs don't interest them, computers
are intended only for geniuses.
If moving to newer, faster and more stable code and hardware
makes Bill Gates money, the only problem I can think of is
that I want to earn some money too. I'd like to meet him
and see if I could change his politics.

| Because it gives Billionnaire Bill another reason to
upgrade to a newer
| "Improved" version of Windows with more issues, of course,
then he can give
| us another "New and Improved" version of windows, etc.,
etc., etc.
|
| You want something you can improve on yourself, with the
help of others FREE
| of charge? Then install and learn from LINUX!
|
| In defense of MS and Windows, though, it is fun, I think,
to download
| patches and updates. This provides us with a "break" from
the mundane
| things of life like spreadsheets, word processing, gaming,
Instant
| Messaging, reading e-mail and surfing the internet!
